Pilates exercise can help anyone achieve good health and vitality at any age. While important and beneficial to all, Pilates for Senior is a must workout.
Pilates is a low-impact, safe form of strength training. It is often recommended by physicians and physical therapists for seniors since it can improve balance, increase flexibility, improve posture and often help to reduce back and joint pain.
You will feel the results immediately! The first sign is an increase in energy and stamina. Soon you will stand taller, become more toned and flexible, and feel more energetic.
We recommend the senior student to begin with private classes. This will insure a good foundation in the basic movement principles of Pilates, and make it easier for our instructors to tailor modifications to your needs.
